Scripture References Lookup Bookmarklet
Now you can use a "bookmarklet" to quickly read and even listen to Scripture references in the outlines!
David A. Duncan (Duncan Productions) has created the "Scripture References Lookup Bookmarklet" which you can save to your bookmarks and use whenever you wish to lookup a Scripture reference on a web page.
To test it, click on this link: Scripture References Lookup Bookmarklet (Your browser must be set to run javascript).
...and notice how Bible references become clickable links: Mt 11:28-30; Mk 16:15-16; Jn 10:11; Ac 20:28
Click on the references and a popup box or new page should appear showing the passage in the English Standard Version. You can even listen to it being read!
Note: The bookmarklet may not recognize every reference. It is still being honed to discern the various abbreviations and formulas used for Biblical references.
To add the bookmarklet to your Bookmarks or Favorites (so you can use it on other pages), you can either:
