(2000). The Time Is At Hand. Prophecy and the Book of Revelation. Woodruff, SC: Timeless Texts Bass, R. E. (2004). Back to the Future: a study in the book of Revelation. Greenville, SC: Living Hope Press. * Clark, David S. (2013). The Message From Patmos. Kindle Edition ** Gregg, S. (1997). Revelation, Four Views: A Parallel Commentary. Nashville, TN: T. Nelson Publishers. ** Gundry, S. N., & Pate, C. M. (Eds.). (1998). Four Views on the Book of Revelation. Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan. Schaff, P., & Schaff, D. S. (1910). History of the Christian Church. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons. Stuart, M. (1845). A Commentary on the Apocalypse (Vol. 2). Andover; New York: Allen, Morrill and Wardwell; M. H. Newman. ____________________________________________________________________________ * Though not as in depth as typical commentaries, these two books would be the first ones I would recommend ** These two books provide comments on Revelation from four different views. The view that takes a similar approach to understanding and interpreting Revelation that I hold is called "preterist" (more accurately, my view is "partial preterist" in that while I hold most of Revelation is past, I believe there are future elements in it as well, such as the final judgment in chapter 20 and the eternal destiny of the wicked and redeemed in chapters 21-22). May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you!<< Previous | Index | Next >>
